ASSISTANCE PROGRAM FOR PRISONERS AND DETENTION CENTERS

Institutional support to prison administrative staff ;
Establishment of a prison information and management system ;
Training prisoners in standard occupations (crafts, office automation, small trades, etc.) and literacy training for the most disadvantaged ;
Short and medium term training in entrepreneurship of prisoners with a view to preparing them for their reintegration;
Assistance to prisoners in the context of social insurance (continuation of contributions to the CNSS or subscription of an insurance policy ;
Assistance to families of prisoners in the context of schooling and the medical care of their children ;
Sanitary sanitation (insectization, disinfection, deratting) of prisons;
Improvement of prisoners’ living conditions (quantitative and qualitative nutrition, clothing, medical and physical care, vegetable gardens, etc.);
Creation of libraries in prisons;
Follow-up to the reintegration of released young prisoners.
