ONG CIERS

The International Center for Education and Social Reintegration since its inception continues to take action for disadvantaged groups. The activities of CIERS are focused on several aspects namely: social reintegration, education (training and entrepreneurship), assistance to people in detention, fight against poverty and concrete actions towards disadvantaged populations.

SOCIAL REINSERTION COMPONENT

This component is part of the reintegration policy. The category concerned includes former prisoners and all persons looking for work.
– Entrepreneurship training and social reintegration support
The NGO, with the support of its partner CAGECFI, organized in 2009 an entrepreneurship training course for young people, including a former prisoner.
EDUCATION COMPONENT: TRAINING AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP

This component concerns the education system in general and support for entrepreneurship training.
Our achievements :
-School donations:
– December 20110: donations of 10 second-hand computers to the students of the Amoussoukopé Public Primary School (Préfecture de l’Agou) with a total value of 1,000,000 FCFA.
COMPONENT: ASSISTANCE TO PERSONS IN DETENTION

This component consists of assisting detainees in detention centers with food, health, clothing and cultural activities.
.March – April 2009 : donations of food and clothing worth 700,000 FCFA
June-July 2009 : donations of a batch of medicines worth 50750 FCFA
COMPONENT: FIGHT AGAINST POVERTY BY CONCRETE SOCIAL ACTIONS TOWARDS UNAFFECTED POPULATIONS

Don disadvantaged children (March 2019): : a batch of food worth 80 000 FCFA plus an envelope of 20 000 FCFA for a total value of 100 000 FCFA offered to the ORPHAN’S “HOUSE OF CHILDREN DESHERITES” located at Djagblé.
